ABOUT ME
Once upon a time, there was a young Felix who discovered his passion for documenting the world at an early age. This is evident in old VHS recordings from his childhood, where he curiously interviews his parents. Soon, he was editing his first videos to the music of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, until his love for nature took over in his teenage years—landscape shots and time-lapse videos of various times of the day and year made his heart beat faster.
When he eventually discovered climbing and adventure photography, this passion became his main focus—so much so that in 2016, he moved to Berlin for a dual training program in film. There, he gradually shifted his interest toward artistic documentary filmmaking. A particularly formative experience was working as a sound recordist for Hannes Lang's short film RIAFN, which took him through breathtaking mountain landscapes for an entire summer.
After completing his training as a media designer for image and sound, he returned home to South Tyrol to attend ZeLIG - School for Documentary, where he specialized in camera and lighting. Since 2022, he has been working as a freelance cinematographer and sound technician for feature documentaries, with a strong interest in films that tackle socially relevant topics and have a distinctive visual language.
And as long as he lives, he will continue to follow the call of images and stories waiting to be told.
